AVA is an ~1 1/2 year old female tri-color hound. (~55 lbs) She has silky long brown ears with a "hound nose" that is in constant use! AVA does have a calm disposition & like her bath time.(She is more than willing to jump in the tub!) Our staff has recently started working with her with leash manners and basic commands. At this time, AVA is not recommended for a home that has small companion animals. Ava will be spayed before leaving the shelter with an adopter. If traveling outside the general area, please call the shelter ahead of time to be sure the cat/dog you might be interested in meeting is available for adoption.
